Jodie Kilworth

There are a myriad programs and products promising to help you get healthy and to lose the extra kilos that have jumped on in 30 days, 6 or 12 weeks etc.

They promise a lot.

If you’ve tried one and got some results in the beginning but eventually ended up back where you began or worse, then you’ve tried them all.  They simply fail to deliver long-term results and success.

What I love about my client Jodie is that when she came to me she had a realistic expectation of how long it would take to get in the shape she wanted. Right from the outset she set herself up for success by not only deciding to make her health a priority, but by taking a long-term sustainable approach to it.

It’s been wonderful for me to have had the privilege of being able to work with her step-by-step over the years to help her achieve the results she wanted. Every body is unique.

It takes time for each client to learn what they have to do, to implement the work and to give themselves the time to learn from their failures as much as from their successes.

No one expects to build a business in 30 days or 12 weeks, so why would we expect to build a great body in that time??

  • Jodie has been learning over the years what foods work for her and what foods don’t. How much food she needs to eat to have great energy, to lose the extra kilos, and to get in shape.

  •  She’s been learning how much exercise she needs to do each week to get the results she wants.

  • She’s learning how to manage her weekends so that she has the right foods on hand to help her achieve her goals.

  • Jodie knows that the only way she’ll be around for decades to come, to watch her kids grow up and have families of their own, is by doing the work now to ensure that (with what’s within her power) she can.

  • Jodie’s just completed 2.5 years of training and has committed to the next 12 months and some very very cool goals.

We can start to work towards these new goals because of the foundation she’s laid over her last few years of work.

Transforming our lives is a journey not a destination. The sooner you can commit to changing your life with a long term view to getting the results you really want, the sooner you will make those dreams become a reality.

If you’ve tried other approaches and want to finally realise your dreams and be a part of a supportive team of like-minded women, get in touch.

I’m so proud of you Jodie. Here’s to your 2018 goals. Keep up the awesome work.

Deborah

Mum of 5

Her Why: Being around when her youngest grows up

“My mum had recently passed from cancer and before she died she told me that it was time to look after myself. I was concerned about my health. I was on multiple medications, not sleeping well, really weak and just getting through the days. There had to be more to life. Kirsten helped me turn my life and health around. I can’t thank her enough. My husband is delighted too. He has got his wife back.”

Sarah

Mum of 3,

Night shift worker at metro hospital

Challenges: Weight was never an issue until after she’d had her kids. Cardio training wasn’t keeping the kilos off and she steered clear of the weights area fearing getting big and bulky.

How: 24 weeks of nutrition and training 2 x resistance training a week and 1-2 intense cardio sessions to get in amazing shape! She couldn’t believe how curvy and sexy weight training made her. Weeded out some habits that were holding her back and replaced them with other great options.

Melissa

Mum of twin boys age 5

Late 30s, massage therapist.

Timeframe: 1 year

Pain point: I don't have the time to keep in shape anymore!

Used to use hours of cardio training in her 20's to keep in shape but after kids just didn't have the time to keep this up. Melissa thought she'd never look great in a bikini again.

She committed to 12 months of accountability and learning and learnt how to use resistance training x2 a week and how to change her nutrition habits to create the body of her dreams and overcome her addiction to lollies.

Jodie

Mum of 4

Joint business owner with her partner

Why: Being around when her youngest grows up

“Kirsten’s own journey inspired me to get started on mine. I’ve always been fairly fit and active but the kilos had jumped on as I’d gotten older and I felt exhausted all the time. Kirsten showed me how to eat more to nourish my body and how to train in a more sustainable and time efficient way to get the results that I wanted.  I knew it would take time to change my life and so I committed for the long term. I can’t believe how much I’ve changed! I get compliments all the time”

Amanda

Mum of 2

Executive role

Why: Not happy with her body and herself. Something had to give.

“Kirsten is a breath of fresh air! I was so inspired by Jodie’s results that I contacted Kirsten and signed up for a year. I’ve always been really active, I was a hurdler in my youth, but too many bad habits have crept in and I found myself feeling like crap and not happy with how I felt and looked in my clothes. I know changing my life would require commitment and effort and the way Kirsten runs the program keeps me so motivated and inspired. We have a fabulous end of year goal and though it’s hard some days Kirsten’s taught me to never give up!”

Darlene

Mum of 2

Business owner

Why: Super busy and high achieving, very active, passionate about her tennis but her health was niggling in the back of the mind. She knew she needed to commit to doing something. She was worried that she wouldn’t be around for her young daughter.

“You don’t know what you don’t know. I thought I just needed some accountability. Kirsten showed me a whole new way of looking at my food and training that was sustainable, got the results I wanted and I just love being a part of her community”.

Kate

Mum of 2 and Nanna to 2

Works full time

Why: Recovering from treated for breast cancer last year

“Treatment for breast cancer left me feeling so weak, ill and unfit. I knew I needed to build my health and strength up again. With a high likelihood of the disease returning I knew I needed to get in the best health I could. I heard about Kirsten and her program from a friend and made an appointment to see her. In 12 short weeks I couldn’t believe how much strength I’d gained! My  body is shaping up marvellously! I’m eating more food than I’ve ever eaten in my life and looking fabulous! I can’t wait for my photoshoot! My goal is to have abs!”

Bridie

Goal: Back in a bikini by her 40th birthday

Timeframe: 6 months

Bridie has a degree in nutrition but even this smart woman, business owner and mum got caught up in trying to get back into shape with a quick fix supplement and spent $1000s only to get nowhere!

Bridie achieved her goal lifting weights twice a week and 1-2 intense cardio sessions and eating more whole nutritious foods. No supplement shakes!

Bridie loved what she achieved in 2018 and is back to better her results in 2019!
